Mr. Pacoe serves as Director of Music for St. Malachy’s Church - The Actors’ Chapel located in the heart of New York’s theater district in Times Square. During Mark’s tenure, he has led this music program to become known as one of the finest all-volunteer ministries in Manhattan. The St. Malachy’s Choir sang in ABC Family’s Christmas Day Mass taping with Cardinal Dolan and also recorded their first CD in late 2011. Fr. Richard Baker, pastor of St. Malachy’s, recognizes the vital importance that music has in the liturgy and the cultural life of the parish. He states, ‘It’s natural for a place like St. Malachy’s, situated in the heart of the Theater District and this great city, to be fully engaged artistically to the ageless expression and inspiration of the Church.’
